Who Can Apply
University Pathways Medical Magnet Academy is now accepting for incoming 9th-12th-grade students.
In order to apply for University Pathways Medical Magnet Academy, students must live within the Los Angeles Unified School District boundaries. Prospective students must complete an E-choices application. The application can be completed online (click on the APPLY icon on the homepage) or a hard copy can be submitted to the main office (contact the school to receive additional information on how to receive a hard copy).
The parents will receive an email or letter. Once the school receives the roster of students that were accepted, the parents will be notified as to when they can complete the enrollment process. The following documents will be required: immunization records, transcripts, last report cards with attendance summary, birth certificate, parent/guardian identification, and utility bill.
Expectations Upon Enrollment
- Summer Bridge-All incoming 9th-grade students are expected to attend the summer bridge program.
- Students are required to take a minimum of 3 units (one class) per semester at Los Angeles Trade-Tech College or East Los Angeles College.
- Students are expected to maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 all four years of high school.
- Students are expected to maintain a 96% attendance rate per school year (7 or fewer absences).
